What's New With You - October

November 01, 2018

Happy November friends! I'm currently on my way to Tennessee but this is one of my fave link ups and I wasn't going to miss it! I think this is one of the first times this link up has fallen on the first. October was a nice leisurely month but fun was had. Let's get right into it shall we?

I tend to skip my BOTM selections because I'm perpetually in the hole when it comes to reading. However, this month's choices included the first book of a new series by Elin Hilderbrand. It was a must!

My boyfriend and I headed to LIC Food & Flea for some beer and food. We also made a stop at the Queens Night Market. I was happy because on the way out we passed a stand doing fried ice cream. I'm a sucker for fried ice cream!

Then I carved my annual pumpkin. I usually try to test my skills and do something more difficult each year but this time I just wasn't feeling it, so I kept it simple. Unfortunately, it didn't make it to Halloween.

I tried to play millennial bingo but as it turns out, I'm not a millennial I guess!

Before I knew it the yearly Halloween party was upon me. I made a seashell bra for my costume this year. I won sexiest costume for my 4th year and I've decided that next year I'm going to aim for scariest or best group.

I ended the month by baking a gorgeous apple pie.... which, I have no regrets to say, is already gone.

October was pretty low key, which I wholly welcome. Especially since the next two months tend to be pretty hectic.

Cheers to November!
